Location

The wedding will be almost entirely in or very close to the parc des Buttes-Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, just a few blocks from where we live.

We encourage you to stay close to the park where everything thing will be within walking distance and there are many delightful neighborhoods to explore. A few of our favorites are:

• Secrétan: This is where we live, If you stay here you will probably run into us on the street.

• Jourdain: Just on the other side of the park, a very nice somewhat secluded Paris neighborhood with a village vibe.

• Laumière: A nice neighborhood close the the city hall and the park.

• Belleville: A very lively traditionally working class neighborhood that is also one of Paris’s Chinatowns

If you decide to stay in the neighborhood, we have a list of our favorite shops, restaurants, etc here.

If you want to explore outside of the 19th, any neighborhood in North or North-Eastern Paris will be very accessible:

• Canal Saint-Martin: 20mn walk

• The Marais: 20mn by metro

• Montmartre: 15mn by metro

• The 11th (Oberkampf, Saint-Ambroise, Charonne) : 20-30mn by metro
